IMF improves outlook for Russia’s 2022 GDP fall to 6% from 8.5%
WASHINGTON, Jul 26 (PRIME) -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised a forecast for Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) decline in 2022 to 6% from 8.5%, the authority said in the World Economic Outlook published on Tuesday.
The IMF also downgraded its forecast for Russia’s GDP decline in 2023 to 3.5% from 2.3%.
The global economic forecast was worsened to a 3.2% rise from a 3.6% rise for 2022, and to a 2.9% rise from a 3.6% rise for 2023.
